Friends of Elsenham School

Friends of Elsenham School (FOES) are a fundraising organisation (formed in 1981) working to provide extras for the school to enhance the education of our children. During the past years FOES has organised fetes, car washes, discos, quiz nights, shopping afternoons, fashion shows, cake sales and many other events. Money raised from these events has helped to pay for various school equipment, visits from drama companies and more recently new laptops and inter-active whiteboards for every classroom at Elsenham School as well as furniture and curtains for the new library. From a child’s first day at school, the parents automatically becomes a member of FOES. A main contribution to the fundraising is the FOES 100 Club which is open to everybody, not just parents.
