The buttons below will take you to the activities which run at present every year. All are run by volunteers and only function due to the dedication of those volunteers. All feed their profits back into the community so that all may benefit.

As a general rule all the committees are short of members and often its the same villagers appearing over and over again that keeps them going. As time goes by, age takes its toll and the pool of originals shrinks, what the village needs is for the next generation to start getting more involved. It is hoped that through this media we will reach out to them.

Please call on any of the people named on this site and offer any spare time you may have to whatever activity takes your fancy, I assure you, you will be very welcome.

I prowl around all these events with my digital camera, I’m not much good and the camera is getting quite old and year on year falling way behind ‘the state of the art’ but done this way there are no costs, so no limit to the amount of tries. The last event was the flower show, I took 80 pictures of which only 70 were of any use and these you will find in a gallery, just click the “button” below to go there.

As policy, I will not name anybody on these pages without their approval and if anybody sees a picture of themselves and objects for any reason just e-mail me and I’ll remove it.
